This house was built in the 1970’s and is in the Old Kings Highway Historic District. The owners did not like the curb appeal of their house and needed more space for their family. We left the three different sized gable dormers facing the street. By grouping some first floor windows together, eliminating an octagon shaped window and adding an entry porch, we solved the lack of balance in the street elevation by unifying the whole building leaving the different sized gable dormers on the second floor intact. The kitchen was renovated and opened up to a sun filled family room,dining area and large deck.
