The owners loved the lot and it’s proximity to the beach, but the house was an unadorned box, sited in such a way that the entrance to the house was hard to find. Now a visitor to the house is led down the curved gravel driveway to an inviting open porch and front door that brings you to through a spacious entry to the family room, dining room and elegant kitchen, the heart of the house. The owners enjoy their landscaped yard while sitting on a large screened porch and deck. What had been the living room became a luxurious first floor master bedroom suite.
