This new house replaces a small cottage built in the 1940’s. The owners loved the site that slopes down to a large fresh water pond, but wanted a house that took advantage of the expansive views and was more comfortable for their growing family. The first floor offers easy access to the pond without disrupting the contours of the land. On the lowest level the garage faces the street. The second floor family room and deck facing the pond reinforce the connection to the site. The owners of this home won the Cape and Islands Board of Realtors American Home Award in Recognition for Contributing to the Revitalization of the Community.
